Danakil has never left the top of the French reggae scene in over 20 years of their career. After two sold-out shows at L'Olympia in 2021, their next performance in Paris could only be at the Z\u00e9nith! Until then, they are fine-tuning a lot of new material that will be revealed in 2024. As you already know, there's nothing better than seeing them live to discover it! The atmosphere at their concerts is always full of camaraderie with their audience, reflecting the deep connection among the members of the \"Danakil family\" that has endured over the years. The high quality of their performances has also contributed to their reputatio<\/span>n and promises to be unforgettable for such an important celebration as a Z\u00e9nith show!<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting from a teenage dream in a rehearsal room at a local community center, Danakil has gradually found the chemistry between each member's inspirations and talents, blending the Jamaican roots of reggae with the French language, while winning over an audience charmed by their authenticity and humanity. They have kept these values at the core of all their projects and have done everything to preserve them. First by self-producing their albums, then by creating their own label to maintain their freedom. Baco Music has grown significantly and now supports numerous artists in all aspects of their careers: recording in their studio, album production, touring, promotion...<\/span><\/p>\n

The evolution of Danakil has led them to perform dozens of shows across France each year, including at major festivals (Francofolies, Solidays, F\u00eate de l\u2019Huma, Summerjam, Rototom Sunsplash, No Logo, Reggae Sun Ska...), in the most renowned venues, and at benefit concerts for causes they support (SOS M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, Solidays, Nuit Debout...). Together, they have traveled the world to play in the Caribbean, Canada, New Caledonia, Ivory Coast, Senegal, R\u00e9union Island, Mauritius... and throughout Europe. They have produced 6 albums, recorded numerous dub versions, several live performances, and collaborated on stage or in the studio with many renowned artists. They have traveled to Jamaica and even received a gold record and a platinum single for the classic \"Marley\"! Ultimately, it is their unique imprint, marked by independence and activism, that they have established in the French musical landscape, extending beyond the world of reggae.<\/span><\/p>\n
