The Tours-based duo TOUKAN TOUKAN created by Étienne and Laure, was designed as an escape from the surrounding gloom.
Their music is rhythmic, colorful, and unifying, with lyrics in both French and English that are calls for letting go and embracing freedom.
Since their selection for the FAIR in 2019, the duo gained attention from listeners with the track "Mangrove." Initially noticed by Kitsuné Music, their music has since been broadcast on national radio stations (Fip, France Inter, Nova, France Culture, RFI, BBC6, Radio Néo, Europe 1, etc.), and the group has accumulated over 1 million streams of their album “SIROCCO” on Spotify, also featuring in the soundtrack of the series "Emily in Paris."
