His words create melodies reminiscent of Orelsan, Gaël Faye, L’Or du Commun, or Grand Corps Malade, balancing between carefree moments and moments of awareness. HYL embodies the tears of a smile, hope in disenchantment, and the contradiction of bipolar emotions. He loves to write about adolescence, like a child trapped in a body that’s too big for him. His playground has always been the stage, even 15 years ago.
