Based between Paris, Lyon, and Cairo, MOHAMED ABOZEKRY has developed a unique style, blending Oriental music with various world genres (Latin, Gypsy, Indian) and other influences such as jazz, blues, and rock. Between 2013 and 2018, he released four albums. Today, MOHAMED ABOZEKRY dedicates much of his work to film music and presents two new projects: a Duo with Ersoj Kazimov on percussion, and his Jazz Quintet in Paris featuring Camille Maussion on saxophone, Mark Priore on piano, Juan Villarroel on bass, and Théo Moutou on drums.
