BIOGRAPHY
The connection between reggae and MIRNA, is as strong as it is deep. Our thirty-something singer of Lebanese descent grew up in Côte d'Ivoire, “the third country of reggae,” she emphasizes. While this musical style is ever-present there, she recalls the day she truly felt its impact, almost like a revelation: walking into her older brother’s room where he was listening to Alpha Blondy’s Brigadier Sabari. After taking time to digest these influences and find her path, she arrived in 2015 with her first album in hand, "The Train Of Changes", co-produced by Tiken Jah Fakoly and aimed at the local market. This led to performances at major African reggae events, such as the Abi Reggae Festival.
