BIOGRAPHY
Active since 1987, BIG RED has navigated through different eras and trends with the same ease that others cross the street. His early days on the mic began in Yvelines, where, alongside his group RAPSONIC, he released the maxi 45 “Mets la dose” in 1989. While this maxi secured them a prominent place in the burgeoning and vibrant Parisian hip-hop scene, BIG RED's heart was drawn toward new horizons alongside RAGGASONIC starting in 1990. This musical shift marked the first logical step in what would evolve into BIG RED's artistic journey over time. Passionate about both Jamaican reggae and the rapped flows of the US hip-hop wave that swept the world in the early 90s, BIG RED tirelessly honed his flow.
