BIOGRAPHY
NATTY JEAN hails from Senegal, where he began on the hip-hop stages of Dakar and in local productions. He was quickly drawn to reggae and its groovier rhythms, which he blends with rap and African influences, following in the footsteps of artists like Didier Awadi, who featured him on his album "MA REVOLUTION". This path soon led him to the studios of MANJUL, the renowned French producer in Mali (known for Dub To Mali, DANAKIL, Takana Zion, Bishop…), who worked on his debut album "SANTA YALLA'. It was also in Mali, in 2011, that NATTY JEAN met the members of DANAKIL, who immediately noticed his unique voice and invited him to join their album "ECHOS DU TEMPS" and the tour that followed.
