But this visionary and possessed producer also gave rise to something unique, or rather, someone: his equally talented son, OMAR PERRY.

From his family legacy, OMAR PERRY inherited his father’s extravagant hats, but not only that! He spent his early childhood in the legendary Black Ark Studio, immersed in his father’s recording sessions with the likes of Bob Marley and the Wailers, Junior Murvin, and Max Romeo—a front-row seat to the greats!
So, it’s no surprise that, in the early 1980s, the teenager decided to leave school and launch his own music career. Creative and musical instinct runs in his blood! Yet OMAR PERRY doesn’t rely on his father’s fame and instead prefers to carve his own path. Over the years, with the support of people like producer and musician GUILLAUME “STEPPER” BRIARD, he released four studio albums between 2007 and 2019. The two first crossed paths in 2005 backstage at a Horace Andy tour, where OMAR PERRY was working. The magic quickly sparked between them.
