BIOGRAPHY
It's difficult to talk about these "trunks" without considering their roots. And where they are situated, Rennes, is a place to which each member of TRUNKS is connected, even if several come from more or less distant lands. The group was formed in 2003 at the initiative of the Jardin Moderne, a well-known cultural venue in the Breton capital, which itself is an aggregation of various associative initiatives in Rennes celebrating its 5th anniversary. TRUNKS had come together in 2016 for sessions that ultimately went nowhere due to everyone having busy schedules. However, the text message sent to the group by Laetitia to reignite the spark in 2021 led, under Stéphane's encouragement, to starting from scratch and creating something fresh rather than reheated: there are new experiences to live and stories to tell. The reunion in the studio quickly confirmed the pleasure and magic of making music together, something each member speaks about with a certain emotion.
